What is a spa?


The concept of Spa, although it may seem new, is not. In the old days, especially the people of the upper classes, they already enjoyed baths at different temperatures and massages.

Today, the spas have thermal programs designed for all ages from older to children and also for all kind of budgets.

Most Spas present a wide range of therapies and activities, leading to a state of relaxation and well-being. In addition to the thermal treatments, some Spas offer Yoga classes, meditation, aromatherapy, music therapy and various modalities of body massages that help to relax the body and mind.

In the Spas, thermal or mineral-medicinal waters are not used, seawater is used as hydrotherapy, including seaweed and sand, these are called thalassotherapy centers.
